Dr. Osman Aşkın BAK

Mechanical Engineer, Senior Executive, Academic: He graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Istanbul Technical University. He earned his master's degree in Business Administration and Industrial Engineering from the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom and completed his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering at Istanbul Technical University's Institute of Science and Technology.

He served as a Member of the Executive Board of the Turkey-Iran Business Council under the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) and as a Member of the Assembly at the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, he held key roles such as general secretary and president in various sports clubs and served as a board member, committee member, general assembly delegate, and president in several sports federations. He has published numerous articles and scientific papers.

He was elected as a Member of Parliament for Istanbul in the 24th term and for Rize in the 25th, 26th, and 27th terms. He served as a Member of the Turkish Group at the NATO Parliamentary Assembly and as the Spokesperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee. He also chaired the Commission for Combating Doping in Sports. In the 65th Government, he held office as the Minister of Youth and Sports.

Proficient in English and conversational in German and Persian, Bak is married and the father of four children.
