Alper Afşin ÖZDEMİR
Alper Afşin Özdemir was born in 1985 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. After completing part of his primary and secondary education in his hometown, he graduated from Eyüboğlu College in Türkiye. He then earned a degree in Economics from Koç University.
Özdemir is the founder and investor of various media, gaming, and technology companies. He also serves as the Vice President of Ekotürk TV and a congress member of Fenerbahçe. He is married and has two children.
Closely following the development of esports both globally and in Türkiye, Alper Afşin Özdemir is dedicated to ensuring that esports, an increasingly prominent market in Türkiye as well as around the world, reaches its rightful position in his country. He works to foster the development of new athletes and raise awareness of esports. Özdemir is one of the co-founders of Supermassive Esports and has been serving as the Founding President of the Turkish Esports Federation since being elected at its inaugural general assembly in 2018. Additionally, he is a board member of both the Global Esports Federation (GEF) and the European Esports Federation (EEF).
