TESFED Esports Festival Took Place!
Hosted by the Turkish Esports Federation, the "TESFED Esports Festival" was held on May 31 and June 1. The event brought together TESFED Provincial Representatives, academics, clubs, and esports enthusiasts. During the festival, a protocol was signed between TESFED and the Azerbaijan Esports Federation to establish collaborations in the field of esports between the two countries.
The TESFED Esports Festival took place at Maslak ESA on May 31 and June 1 under the auspices of the Turkish Esports Federation. On the first day of the two-day event, a workshop was held where TESFED strategies, activities conducted since 2018, and completed projects were discussed. Provincial representatives, clubs, and organizers were also briefed on TESFED regulations. In addition to the regulations, the panel addressed legal and financial issues as well as the operational status of the Esports National Team.
Special Protocol Signed with Azerbaijan
Additionally, during the panel, a protocol was signed between TESFED and the Azerbaijan Esports Federation. This agreement will pave the way for collaborations and supportive projects aimed at promoting esports between the two countries in the coming period.
Exciting Matches and Activities
On the second day of the TESFED Esports Festival, various activities and showcase matches brought esports enthusiasts together. Highlights included a Valorant match between Papara SUP and Fire Flux, as well as a CS2 exhibition match featuring Team Xantares and Team Woxic, composed of players from Eternal Fire. Throughout the day, attendees enjoyed numerous activities, creating an unforgettable festival experience.

TESFED President Alper Afşin Özdemir stated: "As a federation, we strive to fulfill all our responsibilities to make esports widespread in Turkey and achieve a prominent position globally. During the event, we discussed the future of esports with our federation’s stakeholders on the first day. We also signed a protocol with our brother country, the Azerbaijan Esports Federation, for upcoming projects and events in the esports domain. We are thrilled about the activities and collaborations the two countries will undertake together."
